the ultimate packing list

Whether you are traveling to a new destination or across the country, packing can be a hassle! But don't fret, we're here to help you make packing a breeze for any weekend getaway. Read on for our ultimate list of what to bring when you are traveling.

What Clothing to Bring

We know it sounds silly but try to pack lightly. Once you're traveling, you might regret having packed everything you packed. The best piece of advice we have for packing is to pack lightweight items, like tank tops, tee shirts, and shorts, as well as bottoms, such as skirts and dresses. These are items you can wear throughout the weekend and through the night when you stay at a hotel. Also, pack a cute jacket, as this is the easiest item to layer with during a chilly weekend getaway. In the event of a rainstorm, buy some cheap ponchos to wear over your clothes. Also, if you plan on buying a bikini, make sure it’s one you can wear during the day.

What Toiletries to Bring

Here are some of the things you will want to make sure you bring. Your normal medicines, makeup, feminine supplies, hair products and travel size deodorant, hair ties, shampoo and conditioner (optional) most hotels provide it if you’re staying at a hotel. Body wipes and toilet paper (for dry and/or indoor bathrooms), hand sanitizer, toothbrush, toothpaste and floss.  Also, consider pocket wipes, sunscreen, microfiber towels, and ear plugs.
