BEST TIME TO VISIT

Cashmere is beautiful year-round and as such, there are plenty of things to do no matter what season you visit. There is a special charm to visiting in Winter. The added snowfall enhances the landscape.

 

  • Spring - Don’t miss Cashmere’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade
  • Summer - Cashmere has many summer city-wide events like the Wenatchee River Bluegrass Festival, Founders’ Day, and the Wenatchee River Festival.

HOW TO GET THERE

  • From the Seattle area it’s a simple route of driving through I-90 E and US-97 N
  • From the Spokane area, drive through I-90 W or US-2
  • For the private plane, there is the Cashmere-Dryden Airport

 

GETTING AROUND

Cashmere is a small town and your own mode of transportation is highly recommended so you can get anywhere you need. However, there is Link Transit that provides public transport to and from Cashmere and nearby Wenatchee. There is also regional transit service provided by Link Route 22. If you’re flying by private aircraft, there is the Cashmere-Dryden Airport.

  • Rivers - Cashmere is bordered by the Wenatchee River. Within 20 miles, you can visit the beautiful Columbia River. Cashmere is great for rafting, fishing, swimming, and other water activities.
  • Mt - Check out beautiful Cashmere Mountain, an 8, 501 foot summit which is part of the Wenatchee Mountains, a member of the gorgeous Cascade Mountain range
  • Fun Activities- Cashmere Museum & Pioneer Village, Icicle Creek, Cashmere Cider Mill, Mt. Cashmere Golf Course, and Leony’s Cellars

Cashmere is a great town for a weekend getaway. You can fit a lot into a weekend.  Cashmere has a reputation for having great antique shopping. Take a day to browse and shop to your delight. To keep that vintage feel, take in the Cashmere Museum & Pioneer Village to see what it was like to live back in history. Take another day to cider and/or wine tastings by visiting the Cashmere Cider Mill, Barns Etc. Hard Cider Shed, and the Horan Estates Winery.
